Where This System Was Born

A few months after I left for college, my dad told me something I didn't know: he'd found my mom alone, going through old photos of me. Not recent ones — old ones. Like she was holding onto someone who was gone.

I wasn't gone. I was fine — just a normal, busy freshman. But she had no way of knowing that. "He's just busy" and "something's wrong" looked exactly the same from where she was standing.

That gap is why this exists.

I brought the inside view — what campus life actually looks like day to day. My mom brought the other half — she'd lived the uncertainty this system is built to close. Together, we built what we wish had existed then.
